The Nix family contacted me to photograph their family before their son left to serve a full-time mission for the LDS Church in Oklahoma. We were able to get individual photos of him and group shots of his entire family. Can I just say that their family was gorgeous! I hardly edited any of the photos because they all looked so good to begin with. As a Utah missionary photographer, I love getting to meet soon-to-be missionaries and can tell that there is something special about them. It’s amazing to me to see young men and women serve missions. I am slightly shy by nature, so approaching people to talk about religion is definitely something I would struggle with.
